Over 2,000 live instruments across forex, indices, commodities and crypto, traded on sTrader — the platform we build and run ourselves. The majors are streamed below. Read the risk disclosure before you fund an account.
Forex, indices, commodities and crypto — the full range is live in sTrader. Highlighted below are the majors that carry the deepest liquidity. Select any row to load it into the quick-trade rail, the chart and every calculator here.
Charts, indicator readings, the ticker tape and the quotes board on this page are supplied by TradingView for analysis. Prices in the quick-trade panel and the calculators are reference prices from separate sources, named in the footer. None of these are eTrade execution prices and no order can be placed from this website. Your fills are the prices quoted inside sTrader at the moment of execution.
Margin, pip value and risk-based position sizing, computed from the real contract specification of the instrument you selected above. The current price is fetched live, so the required margin you see is worked out on a real market price — not a number we invented. You can still type your own price over it at any time.
Margin call applies at 100% and stop out at 50%. Leverage is selectable at 1:1, 1:30, 1:100, 1:200 and 1:500. The price used here is a live reference price, not an eTrade execution price — your real margin is calculated by the trading server at the moment your order fills.
Pip value is what one pip of movement is worth on your chosen volume.
Sizes a position so a stop-loss fill costs the percentage you chose. Gaps and slippage can exceed it.
Scheduled releases move majors faster than anything else on the board. Check the calendar before you size a position into a high-impact print.
Every tier carries selectable leverage of 1:1, 1:30, 1:100, 1:200 or 1:500, a 100% margin call and a 50% stop out, with access to the full instrument range. What changes between them is the entry threshold and how you pay for the spread.
Leverage is set per trading account at one of five fixed steps — 1:1, 1:30, 1:100, 1:200 or 1:500 — and applies to every position on that account. A higher step means a smaller margin requirement and a proportionally larger loss from the same market move.

sTrader is eTrade's own trading terminal. Because it is ours, execution behaviour, charting and order handling are decided here rather than licensed from a third party.
Balance, watchlist, open positions and order history stay identical across every device. Start an order on your phone and manage it from the desktop build.
Runs in the browser. Nothing to install.
Native iPhone and iPad application.
Native Android application.
Desktop build for multi-monitor setups.
Native desktop build for Mac.
One login. Same positions and watchlists everywhere.
sTrader supports automated trading, so a strategy can run without you at the screen. Automation does not reduce market risk — an automated strategy keeps trading through conditions you have not tested it in, so test on a demo account first and keep stop losses in place.
Full charting with orders applied directly from the chart.
Allocate to a strategy provider without leaving the terminal. How it works
Over 2,000 live instruments across every asset class.
Allocate to a strategy provider and their trades mirror into your own account, scaled to your balance. You keep your capital, your limits, and the ability to stop at any moment.
Trades are scaled to the size of your account rather than copied at the provider's volume. If a provider commits 2% of their capital to a position, roughly 2% of yours goes in — so a large provider account cannot force an oversized position into a small one.
Review a provider's history and fee before committing anything.
Decide how much of your balance follows the strategy.
Positions open and close in your account, scaled proportionally.
Stop following whenever you choose. Open positions stay yours to manage.
Strategy providers charge a performance fee within this range, with 60% the maximum permitted. The exact rate is set by the provider and shown to you before you allocate. It is never applied retroactively.
eTrade's Introducing Broker programme pays a rebate on every lot your referred clients trade — and on the volume introduced by the partners beneath you.
Rebates accrue on traded volume — not on deposits, and not on client losses. A lot traded is a lot paid, whether the client finished that trade up or down. Your rate is agreed when your partnership is set up.
You earn on your own referred clients and on volume introduced by sub-partners in your network, so a network you build once keeps contributing without you sourcing every client directly.
Partner reporting lives in the Client Portal, so you can reconcile accruals against actual client activity instead of waiting for a statement.

We do not publish an income figure or earnings projection for this programme. What a partner earns depends entirely on how much volume their clients actually trade, and any number printed here would be a guess dressed up as a promise. Your rate and structure are set out in your partnership agreement.
eTrade Global LTD. operates the eTrade brand and builds sTrader, the trading terminal our clients actually trade on. Owning the platform is the whole point — it means execution behaviour, charting and order handling are decided here.
sTrader is built in-house for Web, iOS, Android, Windows and macOS — not a licensed third-party terminal.

eTrade Global LTD. is an International Business Company registered in Saint Lucia, operating the eTrade brand and the sTrader trading platform. Services are provided subject to the applicable terms, eligibility criteria and jurisdictional restrictions.
The legal documents below are published in English. The English text is the binding version.
This notice applies to every client and prospective client of eTrade Global LTD. It cannot list every risk of trading leveraged products. It is a summary, not a substitute for your own judgement or for independent professional advice.
The products offered are contracts for difference (CFDs) on forex, commodities, indices and cryptocurrency. A CFD is an agreement to exchange the difference in an instrument's price between opening and closing a position. You never own the underlying asset, you have no rights attached to it, and you cannot take delivery of it.
CFDs are leveraged, complex, and designed for short-term speculation. They are not an investment or a savings product.
Leverage lets you control a position far larger than the money you put up. It multiplies gains and losses by exactly the same factor. Accounts can be set to 1:1, 1:30, 1:100, 1:200 or 1:500. At 1:500, a position 500 times the size of your margin means a 0.2% adverse move wipes out that margin. At 1:1 you are not leveraged at all and put up the full value of the position.
Losses can equal your full account balance in a short period. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely without affecting your standard of living, your obligations or your dependants. Never fund a trading account with borrowed money, credit, or capital you need for anything else.
Prices move for reasons no one predicts: economic releases, central bank decisions, geopolitical events, or no visible reason at all. Markets can gap — jumping from one price to another with no trading in between — particularly over weekends, around scheduled announcements, and in thin conditions.
A stop loss reduces risk but does not cap it. If the market gaps through your stop, the order fills at the next available price, which may be materially worse than the level you set.
Orders execute at the price available when they reach the server, which may differ from the price on screen when you clicked. This is slippage, and it can work for or against you.
Cryptocurrency CFDs are the most volatile instruments on the platform. Double-digit percentage moves within a single day are ordinary rather than exceptional, markets trade continuously including weekends, and pricing can be materially affected by events on individual exchanges. Size crypto positions on the assumption that a move of that magnitude can happen against you.
sTrader supports automated trading. Automation does not reduce market risk. An automated strategy executes faster than you can intervene, continues trading through conditions it was never tested in, and will act on faulty logic exactly as reliably as on sound logic.
You remain fully responsible for every position an automated strategy opens in your account, including while you are away from the platform.
Copy trading replicates a strategy provider's activity into your account on a proportional basis. Losses replicate exactly as gains do. A provider's past performance never indicates future results, and no strategy provider on eTrade is presented with a projected or guaranteed return.
You remain responsible for the capital in your account, including positions opened by a strategy you follow. Performance fees charged by providers reduce your net gains but do not offset your losses.
Accounts are denominated in USD. If your own currency is not USD, the value of your balance and your results will move with the exchange rate, independently of your trading. Deposits in other currencies convert on receipt at the rate applied at that time.
Trading depends on hardware, software, internet connectivity and third-party infrastructure, all of which can fail. A disruption may prevent you from opening, modifying or closing a position at the moment you want to. Have an alternative means of contacting support and do not leave leveraged positions unattended in the assumption you can always reach the platform.
Nothing on this website, in sTrader, or in any communication from eTrade is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation or solicitation to trade any instrument. Market data, charts, indicator readings and calendar entries are provided for analysis only.
Any calculator on this website returns an indicative figure from the values you enter. Actual margin, financing and execution are applied by the trading server.
These products are not suitable for everyone. Before trading, satisfy yourself that you understand how CFDs and leverage work, that you can bear a total loss of the funds deposited, and that trading fits your financial circumstances and objectives. If you are in any doubt, seek independent professional advice before opening a position.
This website is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where publishing or accessing it, or using the services described, would be contrary to local law or regulation. It is your responsibility to confirm you may lawfully open and operate an account before applying.
These terms form the agreement between you and eTrade Global LTD., an International Business Company registered in Saint Lucia ("eTrade", "we", "us"). By opening an account, funding it, or using this website or the sTrader platform, you accept them.
Where a separate written agreement covers a specific service — for example a partnership agreement under the IB programme — that agreement prevails over these terms for that service.
Accounts are opened through the Client Portal. We may request identity, address and source of funds documentation before an account is funded or a withdrawal is processed, and may decline any application without giving a reason.
You must keep your registration details accurate and current, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. Activity conducted through your credentials is treated as your activity.
Orders execute at the price available to the server when the order reaches it. That price may differ from the price displayed when you submitted the order. Spreads are variable and widen in volatile or thin conditions.
We may decline, cancel or amend an order, and may close positions, where required to manage risk, meet a legal obligation, or where an order results from a manifest pricing error, a system fault, or abusive trading practice.
Applicable trading costs are those set out for your account tier. Third-party charges applied by banks, card issuers or payment networks are your responsibility. We will notify you of any change to charges applied by us before it takes effect.
sTrader is provided on an as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend access for maintenance, security or risk reasons. Market data displayed on this website is supplied by third parties for analysis, is indicative, may be delayed, and is not an execution price.
We do not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing we publish or communicate constitutes a personal recommendation. You make your own trading decisions and are solely responsible for them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss, however arising, including from market movement, execution outcomes, connectivity failures, or the acts of a strategy provider you choose to follow.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, cost or liability arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or your provision of false or misleading information.
You may close your account at any time subject to settlement of open positions and any amounts owed. We may suspend or close an account where you breach these terms, where we are required to do so, or where we reasonably suspect unlawful or abusive use. Where an account is closed, remaining funds are returned subject to verification.
We may amend these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page. Material changes will be notified through the Client Portal or by email, and continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
Raise any complaint first with the support team through the Client Portal or by email to [email protected], setting out what happened and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge and investigate.
These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia, and the courts of Saint Lucia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

eTrade Global LTD. does not permit its services to be used for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any other financial crime. We apply customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring and record keeping to every account, and we cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
No live account is funded or permitted to withdraw before verification is complete. We collect and verify:
We may request further documentation at any time, including re-verification of documents that have expired or details that have changed.
Additional checks apply where risk is higher — including politically exposed persons and their close associates, clients connected to higher-risk jurisdictions, and accounts whose activity is unusual relative to the profile given at onboarding. Enhanced due diligence may include documentary evidence of source of wealth and senior approval before an account continues.
Clients are screened against applicable sanctions lists and politically exposed person data at onboarding and on an ongoing basis. We do not open or maintain accounts for persons or entities subject to applicable sanctions, and we do not provide services in jurisdictions where doing so would be unlawful.
Account and trading activity is monitored on a risk-sensitive basis for patterns inconsistent with the client profile, for transactions with no apparent economic purpose, and for indicators of layering or third-party control. Where activity cannot be explained satisfactorily, we may request further information, restrict the account, or terminate the relationship.
Where we identify activity giving rise to knowledge or suspicion of money laundering or terrorist financing, we make the reports required of us to the competent authority. Applicable law may prohibit us from informing a client that a report has been made, and we will not do so where that is the case.
Identification documents, verification records, correspondence and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law after the relationship ends, and are made available to competent authorities on lawful request.
We may decline an application, suspend an account, block a transaction or terminate a relationship where verification cannot be completed, where information provided is false or incomplete, or where we reasonably suspect unlawful use. Where an account is closed, remaining funds are returned to the verified source subject to applicable legal restrictions.
